Ingredients:
- Whole Wheat Flour-2-3 Cups
- Green/Spring Onion-4-5
- Ginger-1 & 1/2 tsp
- Green Chili-1
- Oil-1 tbsp & 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala-1 tsp
- Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder-1 tsp
- Salt- To Taste
- Clarified Butter (Ghee)-For Frying
- Water-As Required
Recipe:
Clean and wash green onion. Peel and wash ginger. Rinse green chili. Chop green onion, ginger and green chili finely.
Add green onion, ginger, green chili, red chili powder, garam masala, roasted cumin powder, oil and salt. Mix well.
Add water in small quantity. Knead the flour to make smooth and firm dough. Cover the dough with 1 tsp of oil. Keep aside for half an hour.
Pinch dough to form it into a ball. Roll it between your palms till it is smooth and without cracks. Then, make a flat ball.
As soon as first flip is done, Drizzle a bit of ghee on the top and spread over the surface of paratha.
