Ingredients:
  • Yogurt-2 Cups
  • Green/Spring Onion-1
  • Cilantro-1/4 Cup
  • Garlic-2 Cloves
  • Lemon Juice-2 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder-1 tsp
  • Salt-To Taste

Recipe:

Clean and wash cilantro and green onion. Peel and wash garlic. Chop green onion and cilantro finely. Mince garlic.



Place yogurt in a clean muslin cloth or handkerchief. Tie a knot and hang the cloth to drain off liquid (whey) for approximately 15-20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, open the knot of cloth and squeeze out remaining water. The remaining yogurt is called hung yogurt.



Transfer the hung yogurt to a bowl.



Add cilantro, green onion, garlic, lemon juice, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well.



Taste and add more salt if required. Yogurt-Cilantro Dip is ready. Keep in the refrigerator before serving. Serve with unsalted crackers, cucumber and carrots. Enjoy!!!
